Everyone Deserves A Second Chance
          Ronald Marapon Dela Rosa, also known as Bato Dela Rosa is the current Director General of the Philippine National Police (PNP) starting July 1, 2016 and was appointed by President Rodrigo Duterte. Dela Rosa was a former chief of the Davao City Police Office from January 2012 to October 2013 under the then-Mayor Duterte and his daughter Sara . He made his mark in tha police service during his stint with the DCPO where he superheaded the crackdown in the carnapping syndicate allegedly masterminded by Ryan Yun in 2012.
         Dela Rosa made a significant transformation in the history of the PNP by turning negative impression against the police into a positive figure for securing public safety. Because of this, people started to love Bato Dela Rosa. Just a few months, he received a lot of praises from the Filipinos even the foreigners applauded the sincerity of the Philippine government to reduce criminal avtivities as soon as they can. It is said that tandem between Duterte and Bato is the perfect combination. Dela Rosa also considered bybmanu as a brave public official, not corrupt, a crime-buster police and a also a humble one.
         But despite of these good things that our PNP chief has offered to our country, a surprising issue occured. It was about the Korean businessman that has been killed inside PNP headquarters. Bato was ashamed of himself because of this happening. Citizens want him to resign on his position including the House speaker Pantaleon "Bebot" Alvarez. He said that it is good for Dela Rosa to resign for protecting President Duterte from embarassment.
          Let's all admit it, all of us commit mistakes. Dela Rosa is only a human too that is bearable for mistakes. Let's not forget all the good things that he has contributed for this country and not to be so close-minded. He is a good chief Director and I believe that he is still the perfect for the position.
